Our biggest project with a single farmer so far. We started working with Elias back in 2012 and since then we have been working hard, every harvest, in order to improve the infrastructure at the farm as well as farming and processing practices. This is also where I stay when I work on my farm, Finca El Suelo.

Caballero
The Caballeros are extremely committed to their coffee farms and are very concerned about the environmental sustainability of their farms. A lot of their energy and focus goes towards improving the soil of their farms to ensure a healthy growing environment for their coffee shrubs. They are 2nd and 3rd generation coffee farmers rewarded many times for their commitment to developing coffee quality in Honduras.

Los Pirineos
Los Pirineos is named after the famous Pyrinee mountains. This is because the farm is located at the top of the Tecapa Volcano in the South-East of El Salvador, which is reminiscent of the mountain range on the French-Spanish border. The farm has been in his family since 1890, growing many different cultivars like the Pacamara, Typica and heirloom Bourbon (called Bourbon Elite).

Nacimiento is a small farm owned and run by Jobneel Caceres Dios and his wife, Fany. The farm is located at the top of the El Cielito branch of the Santa Barbara mountain in Honduras. The high altitude and moist, cool climate makes this one of the most unique areas for growing coffees in the country.

Karogoto
Karogoto is situated in Nyeri and is the biggest wet mill in the Tekangu cooperative society with over 1,700 members. All of them are smallholder farmers which sell their coffee cherries to the Karogoto factory (or wet mill as we normally call it). Some of the members have become quite famous for their extremely productive coffee farms.

Tatmara Coffee Plantation
The Tatmara Coffee Plantation is situated near Bonga, the capital city of Kaffa in Ethiopia. Kaffa is by many considered the birthplace of coffee mainly because Arabica coffee is found growing wild in the surrounding forests, cultivated by the locals for centuries. Negussie Tadesse is the owner of the farm and bought the land and started farming coffee in 2010.
